The Wadson’s Farm CSA provides weekly “shares” of fresh locally grown produce. Our peak growing season runs roughly from November through June allowing us to provide you with a wide variety of produce. We grow dozens of crops with many “heirloom” varieties. All crops are grown with practices that are respectful of our health, our environment and our future. Joining Wadson’s Farm CSA allows you to become involved with your local farmers and learn more about how your food is produced. Your support helps keep responsible farming part of our local community. Wadson’s Farm, located on Luke’s Pond Road, Southampton is a small farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture and designed to operate in harmony with both the local community and our natural environment. The COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA) concept is simple. Members (or shareholders) join the Farm each season by purchasing a “FARM SHARE”. Their membership fees help to pay for the cost of running the farm. Members receive a weekly distribution of fresh seasonal produce. Our CSA is based on a weekly pick-up system whereby each shareholder will collect their produce share; a quantity and selection of seasonal vegetables that is suitable for feeding a 4-person household for 7 days. In addition to their produce shares, members can also opt for egg shares that allows for 1 dozen eggs each week. Adding to that our share members will also enjoy the opportunity to pick-you-own crops including berries and herbs as the season permits.
